Madhukar N Hiregange

He currently heads the consultancy wing of the firm. He is a regular contributor of articles to various professional and trade journals including the CA Journal, KSCAA, FKCCI, ELT & STR. He has jointly authored books on Modvat, Central Excise Law and Procedures, Central Excise made Simple for Chartered Accountants, Excise & Service Tax Audit manual, Service tax made Simple, K.VAT law and Procedure and Guide to K-Vat Audit.

Madhukar has been active in the field of spreading awareness on Indirect tax by conducting seminars and presenting papers. He had been /is a visiting faculty at various Management Institutes including ICFAI, ICSI, ICWAI ,and IIM Bangalore. He has also coached the Officers of the Central Excise and Service Tax Department. Presently Co-opted Member of IDTC of ICAI, New Delhi.

Managing Trustee- Empower Education Foundation, an organization contributing to the education of lesser privileged. Wishes to contribute to the drafting of clear and simple laws in the area of Indirect Taxation in India and Empower chartered accountants in practice. Believes in "Value Based Practice and Life".

Rajesh Kumar T. R.

Presently heading the Litigation wing of the firm. Completed schooling, Graduation and Article ship in Tumkur. Qualified in January 2002.

Has conceptualized the implication of Central Excise, Service Tax and Karnataka Value Added Tax Law on practical aspects of business and assisting the trade in addressing their concerns in these subjects.

Presently concentrating on appearance before various statutory authorities including Customs, Excise, Service Tax Appellant Tribunal (CESTAT) representing their cases. Has written many articles on Central Excise, Service Tax and VAT for various professional journals and presented number of papers in various Seminars and Workshops.

Has contributed substantially for compilation of study material on Indirect Taxes for C.A. Final Students in 2001. Has jointly authored books on Service Tax and K-VAT. Has also assisted in authoring various editions of book on Central Excise Law and Procedure, Central Excise and Service Tax Audit published by R.K.Jain.

Is a visiting faculty for MBA course of M.P. Birla Institute for Management Studies, Siddaganga School of Management and Siddartha School of Management. Regularly faculty at NACEN – a training organization for Central Excise and Service tax Officers.

Sudhir V S

Presently heading the Hyderabad Branch of the firm. He is actively involved in contributing articles for professional institutes like ICAI, ICSI, AIFTP and branches of ICAI. Presented papers at professional seminars.

He has co-authored a "Practical Guide to Service Tax" published by Bharat Law House He is an enthusiastic Rotarian.
